30 Days of Social Media Content

Figuring out what to post on social media can be a daunting and time-consuming task. It's easy until you have to do it and it can become overwhelming quickly.

If you have ever struggled with what to post on social media, felt unsure of what will gain engagement, or felt desperate for a fresh idea, you are in luck!

I've created 30 days of social media content fit for any platform. But first, it's always good to know what a particular social media platform is used for. If you already know, then read ahead, if you are unsure, check out " " then click back here for your content.

And here we go ...

Day 1 - Welcome the New Month

New months provide new beginnings. Welcome the new month with a new sale, new blog post, special announcement, or personal/business goals.

Day 2 - Take A Picture of Your Workspace

This is great if you have several people on your team. This can be a carousel post on Facebook or multiple images/video on Instagram.

Day 3 - A Photo of Your Team or Volunteer of the Month

This could be a great introduction to the latest team member or simply celebrate the awesome work ethic of a volunteer. Tag them, post them, and get reshares and likes instantly.

Day 4 - Interview a Client or Customer

Another video opportunity and cross-promotion. I love how Rian Reed showcases businesses in an interview panel discussion.

Day 5 - Call-to-Action: The Invitation

Give your followers a personal invitation to your blog, YouTube channel, merchandise store, or other social media platforms. This will alert your followers of the many ways to stay connected with you. This is a perfect post if you have exclusive content on a particular platform.

Day 6 - A Quote

The staple of social media is always a quote. Make this post stand out with elements that draw attention.

Day 7 - A Good Throwback Never Hurt Nobody

Especially if it shows business progression or growth.

Day 8 - Repost of your product taken by a follower (#FollowerAppreciationDay)

Day 9 - Start a series post using a branded hashtag

Ask a question that you answer in a video blog, podcast, book, or website. Add your branded hashtag and a link to the answer with a clever animated graphic and you have consistent content that leads back to your brand. Your followers will have their voices heard while engaging with your brand. #brightideabae

Day 10 - Behind the Scenes of Your Latest Project

Everyone is nosey, give them something to look at. This is perfect for an upcoming DIY project or book.

Day 11 - Post Something Seasonal

When all fails, find something common to connect with your brand. A winter post looking at your favorite show or a summer walk can break up your post stride and appeal to a follower you didn't know you gained.

Day 12 - Repost Your Team's Work or Collabs

Boost the esteem of your team and show off your excellent work ethic.

Day 13 - Share a Community or Virtual Event You are Looking Forward To

Promote, Promote, Promote! Get excited about events involving you and that are around you.

Share why you are involved and be sure to tag the organizer and/or event page.

Day 14 - Answer a Frequently Asked Question

It's okay to give a piece away for free. The kickback will be when they want to learn more about your answer. Always have them wanting more.

Day 15 - Celebrate Something

Your social should never be shy of a celebratory moment. Each day is something new, seriously.... National Siblings Day, National Day to Slap Your Co-Worker. Just Google it and have some fun.

Day 16 - Partner Brands & Collaboration Sessions / Shout Out Another Business

This is best when you are seeking sponsors, looking to network, or looking for added likes to your page. There is power in the tag! More than likely, that business will begin to follow you.

Day 17 - Tag-a-Friend

Add a graphic that calls your follower to tag someone else. (Tag a friend who gives the best hugs)

Day 18 - Ask for a Review or Testimonial

Let your satisfied clients and customers bost about your great works in a formal way. Ask for a Google or Facebook Review. It's also nice to give a coupon code to the client after you receive the review.

Day 19 - Before & After

A good transformation is so satisfying. Your before and after photos can be simple and informal. From a cleaned kitchen to an organized drawer. This transformation can be personal or business-related.

Day 20 - Share a Post that Got Great Engagement in the Past

Recycle that post that received a lot of likes and shares. It will only add to your analytics and recoil some excitement.

Day 21 - Poll your followers

It doesn't have to formal, make it a Family Feud type of question. Just have fun. Don't overdo it. You may even get a better understanding of what your followers like to see on their social media feed.

Day 22 - Share a statistic that reflects or affects your brand

Connection to your brand is what is the most important aspect of social media. Supplying a statistic to your brand will give a lightbulb effect.

Day 23 - Selfie Time

Go back to basics and share a candid shot of yourself. The staple of social media influencers and creatives is the selfie, don't deny yourself.

Day 24 - Caption Request

It's best when it's a video but works well as a single photo. This will have maximum engagement when the comments start coming in. Don't forget to comment back.

Day 25 - Highlight a customer of the month

Don't neglect your customers, share their accomplishments (which are actually yours too!)

Day 26 - Post a trending topic

Make a mountain out of a molehill. Post the trending topic and connect it to your brand.

Day 27 - Announcements

You can use text on photos for added emphasis. A simple bold background with the word announcement might make someone stop and read the description. Don't over word your post and don't overdesign your post. Find a happy medium and leave the words to the description.,

Day 28 - Share, Repin, Retweet & Regram

Don't be afraid to let your fans and followers do the talking. Not all of your social media content has to be your own, take a day off and let your followers shine.

Day 29 - Bloopers

Share your mistakes so others can learn. Make this a transparent moment. It doesn't hurt for it to be funny.

Day 30 - Your Highlight of the Month

Brag about yourself, your team, your latest endeavor, a new short key that helped you, and a milestone you accomplished. Your moment may propel someone to take a chance with your brand.
