Siri vs. God

The problem is Siri knows your voice more than God. According to Apple.com, Siri is an intelligent assistant that offers a faster, easier way to get things done on your Apple devices. Even before you ask. What does that sound like to you?

It's the dawn of a new decade; the world around us is spinning with agendas, propaganda, and media all at our fingertips. This is the "right now" environment that we live in; a world where the older generation is stuck longing for understanding while the younger generation, the Millenials, thrive on unlimited access to information.

  • If you have a question, ask Siri.

  • If you want to hear a specific song, tell Siri or ask Alexa.

  • If you need a ride, pull out your phone and summon a Lyft.

In this "right now" error, we fail to correlate our everyday life and the presence of God. Have you ever wondered why Siri recognizes your voice always? Or why sometimes can anticipate your questions or internet searched before prompted? Have you ever checked your screen time on your phone? Delivered every week detailing the percentage of time spent on your phone compared to weeks prior... it can really trip you up knowing that you spent 7 hours a day on your phone.


What would the report from Heaven say? That you spent 3 minutes a day praying or worshiping God. God has always and will continue to be a RIGHT NOW GOD. No system update needed. There is no updated version to God, he is and will always be. If we spoke to God as much as we use our devices, we would see the true fruit of the "right now" environment we live in.


God knows our thoughts, our dreams, our desires, our downfalls ... he knows US and yet we will go to everyone and everything else for answers. Ugh! Well, if you have tried everything and nothing has worked, try God and see what happens.
