Never turn down your ambition

Because someone's uncomfortable with the volume.

As a lady, most would think that being uncomfortable is apart of life. We wear spanks, stockings, pantyhose, wired bras and five inch heels. We can go on for days. Personally, no I am not uncomfortable with my clothes, but in situations, yes indeed.

The most uncomfortable I have been ... going to church and coming to work. I am always "over the top" and "overdressed". Some of my co-workers think I work the pole at night simply because of my shoes while congregants think and whisper that I am drawing attention to myself with my elaborate sleeves and "hook-ups" in my assemble.

Well listen .... I look how I feel! I walk into work dressed as if I am walking into the Sullivan Tower as COO of The Agile Corporation. My family and I glide into church as if to say "Lord, I am dressed to the nines in honor of you." I did it too many times going to the club or the lounge ... so why not?!?!

I CAN'T TURN DOWN. And why should I. My mother always says, "JUST BE YOU, the real you AND DON'T care." So I do just what she says. Someone...everyone... anyone... will have something to say whenever I walk in a room. Believe me, if you start to walk IN your ambition they will have something to say also.

As my grandmother would say ... "ain't nobody got time for that!" It's time to walk through the shade and turn it into shine. It doesn't matter how uncomfortable they may feel about your visual abundance... WHO CARES!
